Focusing on the concept of less is more – we dreamed up a boho natural inspired bridal shoot at The Farm at Worthley Pond, a beautiful renovated farmhouse and barn in the town of Peru, Maine. With beautiful original exposed beams in the farm, a beautiful hand sewn wedding dress, wood flower bridal bouquet, a simple wicker peacock chair and a small accent of a bridal hat we wanted to emphasise the idea that you don’t need to spend a fortune to create beautiful and creative images and looks.
The inspiration is a bride who prefers a minimalistic look, who sees beauty in simplicity. We really wanted to put together a styled shoot that had a relaxed, boho feel to it – the natural light, the movement of the dress, and the colors in the bouquet , helped us achieve this look.
The beauty in the gown was enough to seal the deal. The macrame work in the earrings and the backdrop set the perfect mood. The amazing dried flower roller bottles illuminated the boho vibes. The beautiful make up and hair created a flowy romantic feel. The locally made maple syrup wedding favors brought the touch of Maine to tie the whole shoot together . The natural look of the wood flower bouquet paired with the natural wood beams in the barn brought it to life on a whole other level.
The amazing vendors all made the shoot all that more special. We loved working with everyone and we were able to meet some wonderful creatives that we otherwise perhaps would not have had a chance to work with.
We hope we will inspire future brides to go with their heart and style their wedding how they first imagined it.
